In almost every part of Texas, it is very common to see a horse. There are ranches in every town there. They say you are not a true Texan if you can’t ride a horse. The people there really loves to take care of their horses. But there are times that sudden incidents happened and might put a horse in danger.
Just like what happened with the Houston’s Highway 69 three months ago. A Facebook page “Storyful” posted a video courtesy of a couple who filmed a remarkable scenario. As this couple were driving, they saw a riderless horse on running loose on the freeway.
They followed the horse, scared to see what might happen to it. Upon getting closer, they saw another car with a female passenger trying to grab the horse by its reins from her window. Luckily, she did get to hold on to it and let it off the highway.
“They just saved that horse’s life,” said one of the couple who witnessed it all. Thanks to these quick-thinking drivers, the horse was lucky to be alive. The couple followed the car with the girl still holding the rein of the horse until they reached the side of the road.
A police came then and they told the whole story. It said that the lone horse had been spooked by the noise on the street and escaped from its handler. Causing it to run away on the freeway. Netizens were all praising these Texan drivers for taking care of the situation.
There are truly still responsible and kind people who will extend a hand to help an animal in need. The fact that they have saved a horse’s life is very exceptional and inspiring. Some people who watched the video even had a teary eye. Texan riders are surely proud of these concern citizens for helping a poor horse.
