International recording artist Drake took the social media by storm after showing releasing his highly anticipated new album “Scorpion” last June.
As it turned out, the Hip-Hop superstar once again dominated numerous streaming services, topped the Billboard’s chart, breaks album sales record – and most importantly generated yet another internet phenomenon with “Kiki Challenge” from his latest hit single “In My Feelings.”
As we all know, thousands of people from all over the world—including social media stars and celebrities—have been posting their own version of the silly dance challenge.
To those people who haven’t heard of it, the “Kiki Challenge” requires a person to dance outside a moving vehicle while Drake’s “In My Feelings” song is playing. The added layer of complexity to the newest dance craze has made it instantly appealing to a lot of people.
Joining the bandwagon on this internet phenomenon were Yassi Pressman, Sarah Geronimo, Erik Santos, Yeng Constantino, Kyla, Robi Domingo, Maymay Entrata, Edward Barbers, Bela Padilla, Kim Chui, John Prats, and Enrique Gil.
However, none of them got the massive attention than Karen Reyes. In case you’re still unaware, she almost hurt herself while doing the viral dance craze.
Completely unaware of the consequences that she might later receive, her own version of the “Kiki Challenges” became an instant trending conversation on social media that it has become a safety issue to all the affected people and the authorities.
As a result, the Department of Transportation (DOtr), Philippine National Police (PNP), and the Metro Manila Metropolitan Authority (MMDA) immediately warned all the people about the possible accident that might happen to them.
