Most of the artists of today started as child actors and actresses. A lot of them have been in the show business for so long now that they already have a couple of shows together. Jairus Aquino, Makisig Morales, and Kathryn Bernardo are just a few of these former child stars.
Jairus, Makisig, and Kathryn all starred in a show together entitled “Super Inggo.” It was a children TV show slash fantaserye about a child who wants to become a superhero.
However, the main character was not aware that he already to possesses supernatural powers which he inherited from his superhero father and villain mother. The show was aired in 2006 and was a finalist in the 2007 International Emmy Awards for the category “Children and Young People.”
The child stars of “Super Inggo” Jairus Aquino and Makisig Morales recently got invited as guests in the morning show “Magandang Buhay” hosted by Karla Estrada, Melai Cantiveros-Francisco, and Jolina Magdangal-Escudero. In the show, Makisig shared that he once had a crush with his co-star Kathryn Bernardo when they were shooting “Super Inggo.” He even added that his other co-star, Jairus Aquino, also competed with him for the attention of Kathryn.

Makisig said, “Kasi siyempre, sino ba namang hindi magkaka-crush kay Kathryn Bernardo? Noong time na ‘yon magkakasama tayo, magkakaibigan tayo. At the same time love interest ko rin siya doon. So parang, siyempre hindi maiiwasan ‘yon. Pero si Jairus talaga. Kunyari may mga gift ako (kay Kathryn), chocolates o ano, kelangan sa kanya doble, ibibigay niya doble, mas marami…”
While Makisig was retelling the story of their “Super Inggo” days, Jarius interrupted him and said, “Kasi siya na nga ‘yung laging ka-eksena… So parang papansin lang ako.”
The two former child stars also shared that their parents were very supportive of what they did back then. Their parents were the one encouraging them to shower and offer Kathryn with gifts like chocolates.
Makisig Morales is now also in the television series “Bagani” that airs every weekday after TV Patrol.
