Pinoy movie fans celebrated upon learning that actor Coco Martin and seasoned comedian Vic Sotto will be joining forces in an upcoming movie. This project serves as prove that network rivalry does not hinder artist from collaborating.
The two actors will be starring at “Popoy En Jack: The Puliscredibles” the 2018 Metro Manila Film Fest (MMFF) entry of MZet, APT Entertainment, and CCM Films.
In a press conference in Quezon City, Coco revealed that he plans on working with another GMA talent, Maine Mendoza. “Isa siya sa mga pinapangarap kong makatrabaho as in dati pa,” he told PEP.
He added that he has been an avid viewer of the “Eat Bulaga” host since she started. He believed that him and her share the same taste when it comes to their public appeal.

When the press asked if he made contact with Maine’s camp regarding the collaboration, he said that they are still working on the script of the upcoming moving. He added that he wants to make sure that everything in the script is finalized before Maine reads it.
“Hindi pa, e. Gusto ko malinis na malinis na ang script kapag pinasa sa kanila para…alam mo na. Baka hindi nila magustuhan, nakakahiya,” he said.
Coco also shunned rumors of him directing the forthcoming MMFF entry. He clarified that he already has his hands full with directing and acting for his long running TV show “Ang Probinsyano.”
In turn, he said that Mike Tuveria will be the one directing his movie with Vic Sotto. However, he said that he works closely with the creatives of the movie.
During the same conference, Coco also shed light on the rumors about him and Vice Ganda’s “tampuhan.” The actor said that he and the “It’s Showtime” host have already made amends.
