Robin Padilla allowed Mariel Rodriguez return to showbiz under this condition

Veteran action star Robin Padilla says he allowed wife Mariel Rodriguez to return to the noontime show “It’s Showtime” under a set of certain conditions. The “Bad Boy of Philippine Cinema” admitted to PUSH, during the launch of “Brand Pilipinas” that he was initially against the idea of Mariel’s showbiz return.

Robin said:

“Masyado nang masaya yung buhay namin tatlo (daughter Isabella), kaya nga lagi kaming umaalis papuntang abroad.

“Eh, siyempre, nagtrabaho ako, nakikita ko din na … alam ko masaya siya na kasama yung anak ko, pero sa pagtulog siyempre nung anak ko meron din siyang … si Mariel din siya. May pangangailangan din siya bilang tao.”

The veteran star added that he and Mariel took their time to sort out her showbiz return. Naturally, this is because Baby Isabella is at the very top of their priority list.

Furthermore, Robin Padilla had nothing but praise for Mariel’s motherly duties.

Robin also revealed that she asked her mother and grandparents to be Baby Isabella’s substitute teacher. Mariel Rodriguez even asked her husband to install many video cameras all over their home so she wouldn’t miss a second of Isabella’s lessons.

Robin Padilla was asked if Isabella might have a sibling in the future.
